Delete your Hovio account & data

You can delete your Hovio account and its data at any time. There are two ways:

Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)

Open Hovio and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap Delete account under “Account”.
Confirm in the dialog. Your account is then removed.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can’t access the app, email roha4885@gmail.com from the address linked to your account with the subject “Delete my Hovio account”. We verify ownership and process the request.

What gets deleted

Your account / sign-in (Apple or Google) with Hovio.
Homes you solely own and their records — appliances, documents and uploaded files, maintenance tasks, and repairs (including photos).
Your push-notification tokens and profile information.
For homes you share with others, you are removed as a member; the home and other members’ data remain so you don’t delete records that belong to them.

Deleting only some data (without deleting your account)

Inside the app you can delete individual items at any time — a document, appliance, repair, maintenance task, or an entire home you own — without deleting your account.

Retention

Active data is removed promptly upon request. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. Some records may be retained longer only where required by law.
